Hi,
Some quick images from Google Images : "Aztec Sword"
Search them yourself .
Form follows function .
Note the counter balance at the back of the hilt and the room for a double-handed grip . They were also known as sword-clubs . But obsidian is so sharp (still used in surgical implements - monomolecular) . But it is brittle . So it was used in a swiping fashion . Hence the double-handed grip .
But after a hard day's battle , the sharp obsidian chips would have fractured away and you were left with a club . This is what happened to the Aztecs and Incas against Spanish steel .
But make no mistake , a swipe will eviscerate you without even feeling it . Indeed , some think that the sharpness of the obsidian blades combined with the low speed of pain-nervous impules (see http://andreswhy.blogspot.com "Memristors, bloodpressure and click") is responsible for the Mayan and Aztec fascination with scarification and subcutaneous depilation . They did not feel the pain immediately , and even then it was spread out .
European weapons for Nobility also had a rounded edge in front , edged with obsidian shards for that extra little bit of close-shave . Note that the workaday weapons of the Aztecs as shown above did not have a tip . Too easily worn away . The Spanish tactics of points for a sword must have come as a rude surprise .
Weapons development :
Europeans tacked on a durable front edged bronze point and gradually extended the bronze down to the hilt , then substituting iron and then steel , ending with the sword as we know it . Tactics adapted to suit .
I have not seen such a bastard-sword , and I think it will be extremely rare and valuable . The lobe at the tip of the Cerne Abbas sword hints at it . So look at burial sites near the battle .
Probably in some museum classified as a hollow-point dagger or something equally silly . (The wood would have rotted away.)
Ur-Arthur .
The popularity of the Arthurian legends took everybody by surprise (including the authors .)
But they were simply following a time-hallowed route followed by musical composers and other artists . Take an existing folk-song and embroider on it . Memory in pre-literate societies were kept by bards in chanted mnemonic forms . Cf Homer . Real events get concentrated and simplified , but still have a real core .
So it it is no wonder Ur-Arthur resonated with Artorius .
The requirements are a hopeless war , but some victorious battles and a promise of hope in the future , usually embodied in some enduring artifact like a sword .
Ur-Arthur seems to have fought a valiant slowing-down action at Cerne Abbas , enabling the existing stone-age peoples to have enough time to adapt to the incoming flood of Bronze-age civilization peoples . Hence the emphasis on the Stone Sword .
The battle was probably a draw . Equivalent battles (cf Ramses II , Ramses III) gave rise to long-lasting accords because nobody won decisively .Like a guerilla army , Ur-Arthur only had to avoid defeat to win decisively .
And the Lady of the Lake ?
There is usually some core to legends . Look for a ditch , lake or body of water near the then site . Ur-Arthur was probably killed , and his private retinue ran away , ditching their weapons in the process . But both sides were so exhausted (and Ur-Arthur wasn't in the loop) , so the survivors could make a durable peace .
Of course , he was then then immediately near-deified , being safely dead .To such an extent that the echoes lingered on for at least 5 000 years .
Sic est gloria .

Cerne Abbas Chalk Giant .
Cerne Abbas Chalk Giant .
Andre Willers .
23 Sep 2009 .
Synopsis :
The Cerne Abbas Chalk Giant shows regular geometric features typical of bronze age civilizations .
Discussion :
See http://andreswhy.blogspot.com "Coffins" dated Feb 2008 .
A copy is appended in Appendix A for easy reference .
I am working exclusively from an excellent aerial photograph from "Britain from the air" ISBN 1 85648 561 7 , p60 , dated 2000 AD .
All the features discussed below is clearly visible on the photo . Any measurements are measured from the photo itself .
The figure :
It is enclosed by coffin shaped lines , forming a kite shape with an angle of 80 degrees at the top and 40 degrees at the bottom . This ratio of angles seems to be have been a favourite , as it is easily paced out .
Draw a line through the erect phallus . Call it the center-line .
You will notice it intersects a group of four surviving standing stones to the top of the head .
A kite-shape from this intersection has a top angle of 60 degrees and the bottom of 30 degrees .
Visible from the photo are two trapezoidal ruins : In both , the edges closest to the center-line are at an angle of 15 degrees to the centerline (measure it) .
The bottom ruin (call it the Battlefield) has a still visible (or maintained) marker exactly on the 7.5 degree line between the Battlefield edge and the centerline .
Measure it . See "Coffin" article on the significance .
Note that the weapon points directly to the Battlefield ruin .
It is not a cudgel , but a stone-age sword with inset obsidian cutting edges .
A stone age weapon . The serrated edges are clearly visible , as well as the counterweight at the bottom of the handle for balance and room for a two-handed grip. You will see something similar in Mayan , Aztec or Inca pictures . Form follows function .
The Ur-Arthur , with his Stone Sword .
Interpretation :
A decisive battle took place at this site . It was a site of pilgrimage for centuries later .
The Hero probably died in the battle and was buried nearby .
Gloriously dead Heroes cannot live on to blotch their escutcheon .
Note the inverted triangle just above the outstretched left-hand of the chalk-figure . The topmost corners are denoted by the Battlefield and a group of stones shaped like a Mercedez-Benz brand . The bottom of the triangle is just above the hand . At the mass-center of the triangle is an anomalous discolouration on the photo , denoting very old disturbed earth .
The probable burial site of the hero .
The maintenance of the site devolved into rite .
Well , it still brings in a handsome return from tourists . But the anthropologist might look into ditties sung by the locals , as well as hop-scotch games . Counters .
How come it's maintenance survived ?
Other places to look for relics is on the 7.5 degree offset line , especially near the Battlefield (there is an anomalous spot there ) , as well as near the camp at the top .
Broader significance :
The Bronze Age was a very conservative civilization . Even a small clue like an offset of multiples of 7.5 degrees in hiding things narrows searches down by at least two orders of magnitude .
See http://andreswhy.blogspot.com "Acropolis"
Expect some interesting finds in even well-dug areas on 7.5 degree multiple offsets . And do not forget the third dimension . Depth . Either 7.5 or 7.5/360=0.002 degrees (degree/2pi) .
Keats , anyone ?

Why is the coffin shape recognizable and in use for at least 10 000 years ?
(See wikipedia images) .
Why is it central to the Third degree initiation (the highest) of Freemasons ?
(Reminiscent of Chod in the Tibetan Book of the Dead .)
The reason is the deep esoteric and number significances .
Remember we are dealing with myths .
The coffin is essentially a kite truncated at the top and bottom according to the Golden Ratio .
I took the standard coffin ( 17.3” at top by 28” at widest , 14” at bottom , with about 21” from the top to middle and about 53.5 inches from middle to the bottom . Extend the lines at the top and bottom to get the kite shape for further analysis .
To design a perfect coffin
Measure the corpse’s shoulder width (typically 28 inches) of say W inches .
Draw a horizontal line of width W and mark the middle as M .
Draw a vertical line of length L = W * 7 * 1.618 through M so that the top length is a third of L . Denote the top of the kite by A and the bottom by B .
Connect the top of L (ie A) , the two shoulders of W and the bottom of L (ie B) . This gives a kite shape .
Truncate the top portion of the kite at the point P so that AM / AP =1.618
Truncate the bottom of the kite at half of MB . (ie MB/2)
Now you have the standard coffin , thousands of years old .
This gives a Coffin with deep esoteric significance .
Note that the top of the kite has an angle of 30 degrees and the bottom half of that , namely 15 degrees . The various lengths are ratios of the Golden Ratio .
There are all sorts of delicious numerical titbits
Like Tan(15) + tan (7.5) = 0.4 = 1/25 .
Note L = W * 7 * 1.618 . This is deliberate . Seven is Sacred Number .
It derives from the mind-blowing
Tan(90 – 15) + Tan(90 – 7.5) = 7* 1.618… nearly exactly .
A really elegant formulation .
I doubt whether they had Seven Zombies against Tombs in mind ,
This is why the ancients loved it and why it is still a symbol .
It hints at mysteries .
You might as well be buried in a container that contains our underlying concept of restful beauty .
The Golden Ratio .
This is a very important constant (also called phi) .
It plays a fundamental role in describing growth processes where the increments cannot be decreased to infinitesimal . If they can , we use Euler’s constant e .
It is derived from the Fibonacci series
1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,… where every term is the sum the previous two terms . The ratio of succeeding terms approaches a limit , which is called phi . Also the Golden Ratio .
Iteratively :
Any term A(n) can be expressed as :
A(n+1) = A(n-1) + A(n)
Divide by A(n) . This gives
[A(n+1)] / [A(n)] = [A(n-1)] / [A(n)] +1
We know that the ratio of successive terms quickly approaches a limit
phi = [A(n+1)] / [A(n)]
Thus ,
Phi = 1/phi +1
Phi^2 – phi –1 =0
Solving this quadratic equation (school maths) gives
Phi = 0.5( 1+-Sqrt(1+4))
Phi= 1.618033… (the Golden Ratio) or 0.618033…)
This number pair has the extremely significant property that 1/1.618… = 0.618… .
Also , since the square root of 5 is involved , phi can be measured with a string (Pythagorean triangle 1,2,Sqrt(5) ) Thus ,phi can be measured by strings or strings and a square . This is important from a Freemason viewpoint . (For string read compass)
The meaning of phi .
It crops everywhere where non-infinitesimal growth processes are described mathematically .
Each element is dependant on two preceding elements . In essence , a two-dimensional coupled array .
Visually , the retina and brain operate mostly in a two-dimensional mode . Depth modalities are usually a function of nervous-system processing . Forward jittering is extensively used . The most predictable images are the lowest resource-intensive , and usually the most pleasing (restful , least-energy) .
In other words , a horizontal rectangle of phi ratio takes the least time and energy to process .
Phi can be seen directly where cells grow from a single point , where there has already been previous growth . Obviously , the new cell cannot take up the space of previous cells . Hence the spiral effects in sunflowers , shells , etc .
Why go to all this trouble ?
A coffin is more expensive than a casket (ie a box) . The extra labour involving all the carpentry must easily double the costs .
I draw your attention to the Golden Ratios in the volume where the head lies . Many people believed (and still believe) that this gives the corpse , well , a head start in the afterworld .
(Remember , I have only cursorily touched upon all the interesting numerical things flowing from the 30 degree top and 15 degree bottom relationships of the kite-shape . )
The Pyramids .
There is reason to believe that the truncation of the kite-shape was a degenerate form of interment . The first pyramids (Saqqara) were originally designed to have a top apex of 30 degrees . These were supposed to have been vertical coffins (maybe even the original design) . Unfortunately , the stone they used collapsed under the weight and we ended up with the Bent pyramid and later pyramids with a top apex of 23.5 degrees .
But what is interesting , is that at depths of 0.618 , 1 and 2 times the height of the pyramid , there should be chambers filled with goodies .
Why should these still be filled ?
The gods of light of Egypt were recycling gods . This is how they kept their tiny little eco-system going for 5 000 years . But the nether gods (Seth , etc) represented the inevitable entropy loss . So buried wealth above ground was deliberately lightly guarded to encourage recycling (note their really good recycling of copper) .
But the bribes for the nether gods were simply rendered unreachable to their technology . Underground passages deliberately left with mud-forming aggregates and flooded after depositing the treasures spring to mind . These would be under the Nile-water table (ie below the pyramids) . Even with our technology , it is doubtful whether these items could be recovered economically for the value of the gold alone . Archeological value is another matter .
Value Sink .
In the Old Kingdom , the value of this unrecyclable wealth must have been calculated to a nicety . Too much silver and gold , and they would have serious inflation problems . Note what happened to Spain after 1492 . So they buried all the surplus gold from Africa (Niger , Congo , Zimbabwe , etc) in sludge and ooze under the pyramids .
It worked too .
After the collapse of the old kingdom , they turned their backs on the rest of Africa . In retrospect this does not seem to have been the wisest decision . One wonders whether it was an individual that made the decision (ie is an alternate history possible where an Egyptian and Phoenician led African civilization conquered Europe and the Middle East . It nearly happened with Carthage under Hannibal . )
The crux decision seems to have been a failure of altruism . Egypt did not help parent Abyssinia to recover after the big Drought . They could have done it . But they refused and in shame buried their heads . The whole continent paid a dreadful price .
Think Europe without the Marshall-plan . The US would now be fighting WW4 or WW5 , with Russians , Germans and English as enemies instead of the present bunch of piss-willies who have to buy their weapons from their enemies .
Egypt ended up fighting the Greeks and Romans without any significant help from Abyssinia or the rest of Africa . Even gold from trade would have enabled them to do their old trick of hiring mercenaries . But they did not have the money .
The lesson seems clear : When moving into a negative climate change , be selfish . When moving into a positive , recovery phase , be altruistic .
If there is no recovery phase , tough .

Synopsis:
Performance and control is enhanced by substituting some neural elements in feedback loops by faster pressure waves (factor of 10) , sound waves (factor of 3) or electronically (nearly infinite-same as visual) .
Synapse systems are used as interface between neural-nets and memristors .
Discussion :
See http://andreswhy.blogspot.com "Memristors , bloodpressure and Click" and other relevant posts and publications .
Method :
This is a very large field that diverges rapidly .
Instead , I will discuss specific subjects and handle things as they come .
1. Running :
"Come and do the locomotion with me ." Popular 20th Century song .
The quintessential multicellular activity .
Mobility (culminating in flying) is the major fight-or-flight system .
It requires a fine co-ordination of reserves , nutrient and effluent transport systems and draw-downs .
This co-ordination is significantly enhanced by feedback systems which are faster than the neural systems . The synapses of neurons in various control nexi are very sensitive to pressure waves (the density of neurotransmitters in the synapse is a non-linear function of the density of the medium )
But synapses are also the controlling element in the neural-network of the body-mind.
They thus serve as a direct interface between pressure waves (Memristors) (called Click for convenience) and the standard neural network architecture .
Notice that these are not in conflict , but are reinforcing .
Things are learned by training both systems .
But what does this mean to the human runner ?
1. Bones .
Compression waves from the feet govern bone formation (known fact.)
So this whole discussion would be essential for free-fall systems . Space flight .
2. Auto-diagnosis :
Faster and wider spread pressure waves from the feet show areas of muscles and blood vessels under stress to trained neurons further up the trunk . The returning signals via the neural system , co-ordinated with the time-delayed up-going neural messages and CNS brain messages trigger only the systems in good shape (the well-known fatigue factor) .
This is a well-used diagnosis method : percussion tapping on the thorax , Chinese system also uses pulses on the extremities .
3. Metabolism .
The metabolism (mainly mitochondria and transport) adjusts on a very local level .
It is intriguing to speculate that some metabolic energy disorders (like Diabetes II) are actually localized disorders that merge and grow because of lack of co-ordination . What co-ordination there is , is Memristor . This only makes it grow . It would also be associated with high bloodpressure (another major memristor) .
A diminished learning wave feedback from the extremities .
4. Click , DiabetesII and Super-runner .
Note that DiabetesII and Super-runner has the same problem : to co-ordinate local pockets of energy transport , usage and effluent disposal more efficiently .
We can do this by adding a faster pressure wave to the part of the loop to the feet : Click . The percussion effects gets summated in the synapses there and on return .
5. How long does it take ?
See previous posts .
The neural network long-term potentiation is about ten (10) minutes .
I do not know for the Memristor elements , as the useless Medical Establishment is more concerned about bean-counting than essential knowledge . But I would estimate that it would depend heavily on whether epigenetic (ie phene) systems are involved . Something like the Brown Fat system (see http://andreswhy.blogspot.com "Brownfat , obesity and click") would be quick , but something not involving temperature could be very slow .
But notice the direct interface between synapses and memristors . It works both ways . Imagining things can have memristor effects . Well known in sports .
Or blood pressure control . DiabetesII ?
6. A Beautiful Prediction :
If click has an evolutionary advantage , muscles and sinews would make very faint clicks (pressure waves as sticky bonds break or reform) that can be detected by synapses .
7. And that is why athletes stretch and limber up . It does not add to performance in isolation , but prepares the whole system via the clicks .
This can be enhanced by deliberately clicking by the tongue , or mechanical systems .
The sticky bonds breaking or reforming releases very short bursts of x-rays , which lead to hot-neutrons .
Heavy workouts will lead to systemic-cutouts as the system protects itself (fatigue) . Take chicken fat as discussed . But don't overdo it .
8. Shoes
Most modern running shoes (or shoes in general) removes the percussion effect . This has obvious effects on performance , but not so obvious effects from long-term metabolic disorders like DiabetesII . The curve of DiabetesII incidence would fit perfectly onto the curve of populations wearing shoes all the time .
This can easily be remedified .
A loose flap on the sides can percuss with every stride , or fancier soles can be used . It does not take much , as the relevant systems have evolved to be quite sensitive .
If you are diabetic , or want to be an athlete , never wear soft sloffies .
Even wood (ie Dutch klompe) is too elastic for training purposes .
Note sandals used in Kung Fu or Karate Do .
9 Mechanical Systems.
Wii Exercise with a bubble wrap on the foot surface would be the best .
See previous posts on music .
As good or better , a Bluetooth mike giving a pressure stimulus to the lower legs at every breath or click .
The loop is at light speed . Train the neural networks . As noted , about 10 mins per 28 days .
Just about anything will work , as long as it is faster than pressure waves and there is enough consistency that synapses can learn .
Bloodpressure and bloodsugar should follow similar rules .
10 . Caffeine and Click .
Caffeine is a dendritic accelerator . Walking for 10 minutes with Click after a hefty dose of coffee with hard , percussion shoes will significantly enhance athletic performance or blood sugar levels . Remember those old studded shoes ? Like Roman sandals . Mountain climbers .
Not to mention horses . I always wondered why horses needed to be shod . Their performance in the wild seemed adequate . Only if extra performance and endurance was required , were they shod . One wonders if the lack of shoes led to the lack of war-llamas ? Will sheep or goats be more productive if they were shod ? Almost certainly .
It would be amusing if a large part of the success of the Roman Legions was due to their inelastic , studded boots .
2. Pain .
Why is pain 200 times slower than other nerve impulses ?
The answer is that for the Group Organism it is actually faster . Parts of the feedback loop (sound) is faster than nerve impulses by 3.4 .
The Sentinal Response .
Pain or loss is only registered if a Sentinal gives the go-ahead . This is intimately linked to pack dominance . About 5 members of the pack are designated as Sentinals . They are supposed to monitor the 360 degree perimeter . This gives 360/5=72 degree angle of human or monkey vision . A very old system .
The minimum necessary sufficient pack size is then 5x4(females, youths, old age)= 20 on a two dimensional surface . On three dimensional(3 dim angle is 2*2pi) it is 2x40=80 . Times two for sleepies and other activities , it gives about 160 for the minimum necessary sufficient size of a pack group . This gives roughly the minimum sizes of homonin pack behaviour . Confirmed by experiment .
Except for the Sentinal response . (Called Leadership) 5/160 ~3% . About on par for humans . All based on the width of the eyes .
To get back to pain : for a pack organism it was contra-productive to react faster than the pack . Pain was only recognized if a Sentinal OK'd it .
Can you see where this is going ?
Humans are pack animals even down to the levels of reacting to individual damage .
Now can you see why Sentinals are built in ?
Fashion ?
The system will throw up at least 5 fashionistas or leaders , regardless of the circumstances .It lessens the pain . Quite literally . Ask Elvis .

Lunar Sub-Crustal Torpedoes .
Lunar Sub-Crustal Torpedoes .
Andre Willers.
15 Sep 2009
Synopsis :
Sub-crustal torpedoes can cheaply terraform the Lunar crust . Existing structures might be found .
Discussion :
See http://andreswhy.blogspot.com "Makgadigadi Sea"
The main problem with sub-crustal torpedoes is to get the initial speed . This can be done in an airless environment like Luna . The continual propulsion system (if needed) can cut in after the initial impact from orbit , generating the plasma envelope
Luna's shallow crust can be riddled with shallow-surface tunnels done by kinetic sub-crustal torpedoes .
If there is water at the poles , or deeper , the vapor will flood the tunnels .
A steered comet or two will help .
This might have already happened during past meteor and cometary bombardments .
Swiss cheese , anyone ?

Synopsis :
Varying viscosity and pressure gradients in the bloodstream act as a memristor . This means bloodpressure has a memory of it's own . The much higher velocity of sound in water (about 12 times higher than nervous impulses) enables monitoring and control via Click .
Discussion :

Rhythms :
Heartbeat : 72/min 1.2/sec 0.83 sec per heartbeat
Breathing: 15/min 0.25/sec 4 sec per breath
DoubleClick : (Measured) 1.2/sec 0.83 sec per doubleclick
I did not expect such a close match , even if predicted . Note that this is a doubleclick with the mouth closed .
The doubleclick matches the lub-dub of the heartbeat .
But the doubleclick is under our conscious control . Heartbeat can thus be entrained .
The DoubleTongueClick also regulates breath control .
Notice that Heartbeat/Breathing =72/15 = 4.8 . Breathing rate is partially under conscious control . So by slightly slowing the doubleclicking rate , we can slow the heartbeat rate . But this will also slow the breathing rate . I will leave the differential equations to the dear reader .
Bloodpressure:
Blood is not simply a fluid . It is more like a gel with varying viscosity .
Bloodpressure = sum of partial pressures of water molecules , protein molecules , red blood corpuscles , whiteblood corpuscles , bacteria and so forth .
It is also subject to pulsing (ie heartbeat , breathing ,click ,speech , exercise)
It is thus possible to have high-blood pressure and low-blood pressure at the same time , depending on the width of the blood vessels and the state of dehydration .
Especially in those taking diuretics (medical , alcohol , caffeine)
The memristor effect would be most clearly seen at constrictions . The constriction will remember the narrowness . This is clearly seen in heart-supply vessels (angio problems) and lung constrictions (asthma ,etc) . But the gut is a muscle that works constantly , even more than heart and lungs . Memristor problems will surface there first .
This is not at all like a pipe .
This is where all those speeds of information transfer above comes in .
Nervespeed is an order of magnitude (about twelve times) slower than waves of pressure in the circulatory system .
Heartbeat can and does regulate many procedures , but fine-tuning can be done far better by Click procedures .
Click pressure waves propagate far faster than nerve impulses .
Because they can be tailored to breath (ie O2/CO2) pulses , energy efficiency of bodily systems can be considerably enhanced . (This is not a linear system) .
See Yoga (!!xo!!xa) systems .(!! means double click) Very old
The doctor commands : say "Ah" , but what he means is say "!!xah" . Try it .The frequency of the response should tell you a lot .
Mitochondria are sensitive to pressure fluctuations . More importantly , Phene control systems on the cell-walls are very sensitive and have learning mechanisms .
Delicious !
Humans have been using click languages for about 3 million years . Is this long enough for phene systems to have evolved fixed responses ?
It is possible if it involves major positive feedback loops .
If so , an Ur-Language at cellular level exists . A Rull system can exist .
Indeed , many quorum-bacterial languages could be chatted with using Click .
Talk bacteria out of switching on lethality genes . A Bacterial-Click speaker .
Viruses will be harder , if not impossible .
But a Click-Phene Speaker is possible . And the Phene system controls viruses .
The phene system also controls mortality .
A Phene-Click speaker is potentially immortal .
Remember , the whole system is 2/3 cooperation and 1/3 competition from really basic principles .
Music:
From the speeds above , you can see that even sound in air is about three times faster than nervous impulses . Percussion effects on extremities will play major roles , especially fingers and toes (nail-beds) , which are already extremely sensitized to patterns of compression waves .
So , you will appreciate music more by taking your smelly socks off and spreading your toes and fingertips wide .
Pain :
This is very slow . 200 times slower than anything else . Why ?
Evolutionary arguments lead to faster reactions to damage , not a whopping 200 times slower .
You know it from personal experience : a burn or cut only becomes painful long after you have realized from visual or auditory cues that you have been damaged .
The system does not learn , either . Even in old age ,the same happens .
Once again , why ?
This seems to be a physical expression of the pack-animal (ie social response)
In essence , why are positive feedback responses(like pleasure) faster than negative ones (like pain) ? This is not frivolous . It is deeply hardwired .
Memristors .
Memristors are not similar to neural networks . Pain is a memristor network . So is bloodpressure . They can only be reset internally , not by direct feedback .
Interesting :
Percussion damage is more likely to by a factor of 200 to have short-term behaviour modification . Beating with a paddle , not a whip . Something every parent knows .
The pain need not be severe . It is the immediacy of the negative-feedback response . Way below conscious perception . Memristors kick in . Programming humans .
The memristor memory remains .Also called Civilization .
Must be accompanied by positive feedback (2/3)
Buffalo.
The reason why Africa lagged in the civilization stakes .
Nobody has ever tamed , never mind domesticated African buffaloes . Why ?
It has been done in the Middle East , India and Far east .
See http://andreswhy.blogspot.com "Magadikgadi Sea"
On the shores of the inland sea where modern humans evolved , they did domesticate the buffalo . Well , quarter sort of . They took some to the North to eventually end up in India . But most became feral as the inland sea dried up . The escapees also were the untameable ones . A selection process . These competed directly with cattle and horses .
Funnily enough , one would think that a horse or cattle could run away from a buffalo . But not if there were buffalo's everywhere . A matter of pheromones .
Jared Diamond's co-evolution . It was feral buffalo that kept Africa pristine .A hatred of humans . Try Neanderthals?
Buffalo Click-talkers .
As far as I know , not even the degenerate San or bushmen had Click-talkers for buffalo . Yet , it should be possible . They were semi-domesticated once .
But a learned hatred for the human MHC would be a slight no-no .Somebody with a Neanderthal MHC should be able to click talk them . Tuscany or Anatolian . Tuscan hounds or Anatolian sheep dogs will serve as an introduction .
See http://andreswhy.blogspot.com "Death of an Ur-Language"
A team of willing Cape Buffalo , towing a wagon in harness , with a Tuscan or Anatolian herder and Tuscan or Anatolian hounds as intermediaries will really blow my mind . But then , even humans have blown my mind with the Berlin Wall , et al .

Brown Fat , Obesity and Click .
Brown Fat , Obesity and Click .
Andre Willers .
9 Sep 2009.
Synopsis :
Brown fat and the concomitant nerve and bloodflow clusters is a major component of the hoemeostatic and energy controlling mechanism .
This can be manipulated .
Discussion :
See New Scientist 15 Aug 2009 p38 .
The mitochondria in brown fat is associated with protein called thermogenin , that turns the ATP produced into heat . This is evolutionary linked with the development of muscles and homeostasis . A sort of intra-cellular shivering . (Note that babies cannot shiver) .
Babies have large brown fat deposits around the neck an back and kidneys .
Adults have some spots around the hollows between the arm bones and shoulder bones (the clavicle) . A spot above the heart . At the back of the spine above the heart . Kidneys .
Why ?
Peripheral temperature sensors are at the back of the knees and elbows .
Critical body-core temperature sensors would be near the critical organs . These systems would be semi-autonomous . They not only regulate heat generated by the brown-fat cells , but also stimulate production of new brown-fat cells from stem-cells.
They are also very fast .
Brown-fat cells generate about 500 cal/day from 50g of tissue . The mitochondria use any fuel , but mostly fats . Hence Atkins .A low carb diet concentrates on fats .
A high-carbohydrate diet will result in a shiver-response to control temperature . Brown-fat deposits decrease .
The figures Persons with brown fat : from "Diabetes" vol 58 , p803.
50 % (ages 23-36)
8% (ages 38-65)
Baths vs Showers .
Why women prefer baths . It keeps them slimmer .
Or sitz-baden .
There is always a temperature differential between the clavicle and the body in these baths . This stimulates brown-fat formation .
The same can be achieved in a shower if the spray is kept below clavicle height , or a mask over the clavicles is worn .
Such mask is obviously not very practical with females . But a low-cut back is nearly as good .
Togas .
The same effect can be seen in classical Greek , Roman or Egyptian clothing . Keeping one or both clavicles bare , maintained a temperature differential that stimulated brown-fat stem-cell formation .
Do not try this on eating-disorders without medical supervision .
Time needed .
Incredibly short .
This is a real-time , fast reaction resetting of some epigenetic constants .
Ten minutes per 28 days is sufficient . (Lunar month) .
See previous posts on long-term potentiating in nerve cells .
You will need to mop up free-radicals generated by the process .
It sounds easy , but it can kill you stone dead . That is a certain weight loss .
So be careful .
How to do it :
My first inclination is to bar anybody drunk , hungover , with metabolic disorders, with mental or brain disorders . But this will leave nobody (maybe a lost and wandering herrenvolk .) So try it , and take your chances.
Shower :
Put a small towel around your shoulders (insulation) , cut a hole in a plastic bag and put it around your shoulders (keeps water out.) . Make the water as hot as you can stand it for about 10 minutes .
If you die , too bad .
If not , repeat once a month .
Click .
Use click as described in http://andreswhy.blogspot.com "Death of an Ur-Language" et al
The internal click not only activates brown fat formation . In the presence of chickenfat , it activates fusion processes . Brown fat is a fusion process .

Death of an Ur-Language.
Death of an Ur-Language.
Andre Willers
9 sep 2009
Synopsis:
Click ur-language died out because school was too long .
Discussion :
The fundamental problem :
Click is both a language (ie intra-human communication) and perception modality .
Perception Modality :
The sonar returns of clicks had a one-to-one correspondence with reality . But this took a long time to learn . Reality has many things to learn , plus the correlation between visual and click systems .
Low abstraction .
Abstraction is usually a function of intra-human communication , not human-reality interaction .
Low child rate .
This follows , because it simply took a long time to train a child to become "human" , ie pass the humanity tests .
The tests were to Communicate , survive on his own , put group interests above personal interests . These were tested for , using Click language . Rites of passage .
What happened :
The hidden assumption was that Intra-human communication and Reality perception were linked , both being Click–orientated .
The invention of sustainable agriculture (note sustainable , ie climate stabilization) broke this hidden assumption .
It made large populations possible . But long childhoods with personal tuition ?
Humans farmed off the newest children onto the oldest capable children to do the minimum necessary rearing .
Sounds familiar ? Iterate this for a few generations and you have peasants with surpluses . And we are off to the civilization races .
Click-languages vanished in the process . They survived only as Holy Languages for elites with access to surpluses .
The remaining human-human click languages evolved as degenerate click-languages .
Endings , agglutinative , tonal or combinations therof .
Amusing :
Written forms evolved very early (see previous posts on cave paintings) . But they have not even been recognized as writing . Though Chinese ideograms or some Egyptian hieroglyphs could be seen as click encapsulations .
Ditto for Sumerian incisions .
Ditto for Peruvian quipu's.
Really amusing :
As humans become older , they lose their aural discrimination faster than ocular discrimination .
There is a severe auricular limit on aural perception .
You can see well for longer into old age than you can hear . This finally drove the click language into oblivion .
(Aural frequency discrimination starts to degenerate after age 25 , ocular after age 45)
So they threw out the baby with the bathwater .
Can the useful bits be resurrected ?
Some pieces survived . Chi (!xi) . Yoga(!xo!xa) . As elitest remnants .
Can we revive the Ur-Click ?
No problem . At least two complementary or el-cheapo singular pathways are known .
1.GPS (the smarts is in the map) . It can be easily adapted into a translation map .
2.Existing tracking maps for bushmen .
Why should we revive it ?
The benefits .
Humans might have been a tad overhasty in rejecting Click-languages . Abstract languages might be fashionable , but there is something to be said for a language that controls and monitors internal physiological processes .
The major problem would be the long time it takes to learn it .
But see http://andreswhy.blogspot.com " SUOS"
The process can be speeded up by orders of magnitude .
1.Health .
Things like blood pressure , heartbeat , sugar levels , obesity , muscle density , etc could be monitored and controlled by a click language via biofeedback .
Even a simple !xi at inhalation and !xo at exhalation in an athletes training will enhance his performance by about 1% - 10% .
2. Music .
Music can be seen as a poor man's version of click-music .
3. Old cave paintings .
Make some sense of them .
4. Politician talk .
Paying attention to the sounds means that at least some attention is paid to the sense .
5. Short term memory .
Predictable systems are pleasing . The missing bits can be filled in with a high degree of accuracy . Older people are then more conservative . A click system is more predictable . So , talking to old people use more click sounds .
Actual use .
The Algorithm .
1.Keep big mouth closed .This is essential .
2.Click tongue while inhaling and exhaling through nose.
Notice that the clicking falls into a pattern : double clicks at the beginning and end of each inhalation and exhalation . All humans will do this .
Once you start tongue-clicking , the cadence follows . It is deeply hardwired .
3. Why does it work ?
The double tongue-click causes pressure fluctuations right throughout the vascular system . This warns it that O2/CO2 fluctuations are coming . Mitochondria to prepare
4. Energy systems adjust . They learn .
5. For how long ?
Five minutes . See previous posts on long-term potentiation .
6. Why not just rely on heartbeat ?
Breath and heartbeat are not synchronized
7. Keep big mouth closed , and click tongue . Many problems go away .
And so it goes .

Death of the Neanderthals .
Death of the Neanderthals .
Andre Willers.
5 Sep 2009
Synopsis:
The Neanderthals died out because their legs were too short .
Discussion :
See Scientific American Aug 2009 p34 " Twilight of Neanderthals"
Start quote p 39 :
"the energetic cost of locomotion was 32 percent higher in Neanderthals than anatomically modern humans."
End quote .
What does this mean ?
They ran slower . With a heavier body . Heavy infantry vs light infantry .
The multiplier :
Rapidly varying climatic effects pushed Neanderthal communities into 3 subgroups (p37) , Western Europe , Southern Europe and Western Asia . These types of communities survived the genetic isolation in previous episodes by the occasional migration of males . It only takes a few males to revitalize genetic diversity .
Males' role in the scheme of things . Cf equivalent occurrences in Pacific islands
circa 17th and 18th centuries .
But humans were cursorial raptors .
Adapted to long-distance chases .
They inderdicted enough Neanderthal males trying to reach other enclaves to ensure a genetic diversity collapse .
Dogs .
Dogs (wolves) were fellow travelers with humans . Not domesticated then (and some think never really domesticated . Dogs can still interbreed with wolves . There has been no fundamental genome change . Genetically , dogs are still undomesticated . Notice how fast they go feral .) .
Humans could run with them and the chase enforced a pack-leadership type of social organization .
Wolves were (and are)smart enough to change their behaviour to ensure their survival. Both humans and wolves ate better if they shared prey according to pack protocols .
Humans-Dogs (wolves).
This partnership proved fatal to Neanderthals .
1.Genetic diversity was fatally impaired by interdiction of groups of males trying to travel to another enclave . While a bunch of Neanderthals could see off a bunch of humans , they still had to eat . And the faster dogs and humans chased all game away .
Or , more likely , let the Neanderthals make the kill (usually whooly rhinocerous) , then chase them away from the carcase . They could do this because they could run faster and for longer and had projectile weapons (spears) . The really classical advantage of mobility .
These would have been small groups of adventurous humans . Juveniles . the equivalent of soccer yobbos.
2.The Human-dog system enveloped the Neanderthal enclaves and simply removed their food supply .
3. MHC and dogs .
Dogs (or semi-wild wolves) would have learned to recognize the scent of Neanderthals . These would have been exterminated as enemies of the Pack .
The only surviving Neanderthal genomic material would be in those with MHC tolerable to dogs .
For some reason , Anatolian Sheepdogs keep on popping up in my mind . These were and are actually the only surviving , working wolf-killers , but they might have learned to tolerate Neanderthal MHC . (On the principle of the enemy of my enemy is my friend .)
So , if you were looking for some Neanderthal genes , the wilds of Anatolia would be a good place to look . Especially if there are lot of Anatolian sheep-dogs around . The Neanderthal anatomical features would have been very diluted .
Ie , it would not have been genetic incompatibility that prevented miscegenation , but the dogs not tolerating an alien .
These would long predate Bronze age , Aryan , Celtic , Persian , Greek , Roman or Turkic populations .
Old , old .
4.Neanderthals could not compete
Because wolves would not adopt them into the pack . They were not cursorial raptors. Their legs were too short .
5. Now do you see why humans run ?
Running releases aromatic compounds (pheromones , MHC's , etc) that defines a person as human . Your dog requires walkies not just for exercise , but to reassure himself that you are still a member of the pack . Humans are now so washed , deodorized and scented that a poor dog can only recognize his fuehrer if he sweats a bit .
The same is true for inter-human reactions .
Huddling together in gymnasiums .
Or even intra-human reactions .
The parts of a human interacting with each other , defining boundaries .
But all your organs still need chemical communication to tell each other they are part of the same pack .
6. The loneliness of the long-distance runner .
Actually , he is not lonely at all . He is enveloped in a cloud of sweat and aromatic chemicals that tells his identity and position in the pack . His ancestors are all with him . His footfalls entrain him .
Hence the effects of even slight breezes . Washing away the effluvium . A top athlete will perform better with a slight breeze from behind (reinforcing) , while the others will perform better with a breeze to the side or from front . (Reducing self-limitation.)
A heavier breeze from behind will actually reduce performance of the top athlete . These boundaries can be calculated exactly .
See Tim Noakes on fatigue and other self-limiting mechanisms . Olfactory and aural mechanisms are major pack governing systems .
7. School curricula
Can you see why running fast or long is so important to humans ? It defines them .
Thousands of years later , and children are still measured by these skills . Major planet-wide competitions are held .
8. Click , Chi and running and breathing .
Pronounce Chi the correct , old way :
!xi : A tongue click on exhalation.
!xo : A tongue click on inhalation.
In long distance , endurance running this measures the amount of oxygen inhaled or CO2 exhaled , depending on the patterns of clicks and tongue conformations .
And all those Eastern Mystical Ways ?
The force of Chi ?
Just another click .
A running song would automatically evolve in click-language in optimal configurations . A fast chasing song , or a slowlong-chase song or a rushing song . All automatically balancing O2/CO2 with slow-twitch/fast twitch muscle requirements .
You can see how songs evolved . Nobody is going to sit around saying !xi - !xo at every inhalation-exhalation . (Except the demented priesthood) . The rest simply made up songs (working ditties ) . The origins of mantras .
"Om mane padme sum" a well known mantra .
"!xm !xm!xn !xp!xd(left twist of tongue) !xme(right twist of tongue) !xsm(a fat click with a left twist to the tongue, recovering from the previous right twist of the tongue )
Combat : They were formidable heavy infantry . See Etruscans below .
As you can see , not a language for faint-tongued .
9.Click-poetry .
From the Lescaux caves : a free translation :
"!xp-!xp-!xop joined the thunder of the hooves . But I still see her shy backward look and hear her in the hesitant patter of the wind in the trees ."
10. Etruscans .
The indications are that Etruscans were remnants of Neanderthal genetic mixtures that fled from Anatolia circa 1200 BC .
Markers :
1.Big noses .
Neanderthals were cold-adapted . Over at least 500 000 years of climatic vicissitudes . This is a very strong positive adaptation to dry climates , whether cold or hot . Genes for this would have spread rapidly .
Greek noses were straight . Roman noses were , well , Roman .
So the Etruscans came in before the Greek irruption .
Roman noses came from the Etruscans (like most else Roman) .
2. Click language
Note the puzzling lack of recognizable inscriptions on their many tombs .
The inscriptions are there , but just not recognized .
Try Click-resonances as described above and in previous posts .
3. Suffixes in Latin .
A typical result of a click ur-language . The vowels are the opening and closing of the jaw after click , with some twisting and guttural effects .
4. Combat styles .
Heavy infantry .Most telling . Most people assume that the Roman Heavy Infantry style comes from the Greek Hoplites . Actually, it comes from the Etruscan , and there is some evidence that the Greeks learned a lot about this from the Etruscans .
Why else trade with them ? Greeks were Yankee or Viking traders : they only traded if they could not take .
So , if you want Neanderthal genes , go to Tuscany .
PS. Tuscan hounds (ie Anatolian dogs) were renowned in Roman days .Still is .
Nice doggie .

Single User Operating Systems (SUOS)
Single User Operating Systems (SUOS)
Andre Willers
2 Sep 2009
Synopsis :
Virus epidemics can be minimized by using self-assembling , unique , user parametric operating systems with a common interface protocol .
Discussion :
An operating system is simply the machine code relating human input (keyboard , etc) and computer output (mainly screen , but also sound , etc.) . This is a very simple and repetitive process , very amenable to fractal compression techniques .
With a little tweaking (equivalent to human epigenetics) , something like Linux can be changed to a self-assembling operating system . Uniqueness can be ensured by tailoring to the machine used , as well as bio-metrics of the user .
It is not even hard .
A very simple OS can be generated , where address parameters and decision points are inputs (labeled n(1) ) into the first level meta-program (L1,n(1)) .
Proceed till L(x,(n(x) ) .
Andre's First Conjecture :
N(x)>=2 as x ->infinity .
Andre's second Conjecture :
If N(x) -> 0 , the system approaches a Singularity .
This is obvious from the fact that A plus (~A) is less than the Universum . As previously discussed . It has a tautological meaning : The minimum necessary sufficient number of identifiable dimensions are two , plus one spin dimension between them ( A to ~A) . This gives the three physical dimensions in our universum . This gives rise to all sorts of surprising things (like magnetism) .
Humans :
This is the route used by human brains . There seems to be a very good reason not to have the same operating systems at a hardwired level . Viruses spring to mind .
But the system still needs communication protocols . Hence languages . This means there is very probably an ur-language .
(Most probably a click-spin contraption . Torque the tongue from side-to-side and/or also shift it back and forth This will enable click returns from the sides of the cheeks . More efficient . But too high energy and difficult . Our languages are degenerate forms of this .)
Women's Breasts .
I thought that would get any human's attention .
A long tongue cannot curl and click as fast or as efficiently as a short one . So , the shortening of the muzzle was driven by the click imperative . This meant that the poor babes were much more likely to smother when clutched to the mother's breast . So the breast had to plump up . Large . conical , fat cones .
Suckle without choking . No worry about inflation , here .
Sex and Operating Systems .
Large , old systems with continous human interaction must split into two .Male – female . Usually female .See argument above . This is true of bodies as well .
When have you last told your operating system that you loved her ? No wonder you are feeling old and decrepit (Human bodily operating systems are always female .).
The point is , that from very fundamental principles , the system will exhibit behaviours that it is not supposed to even recognize .
Your computer exhibits similar behaviours . You are just not sensitized to recognize them ,
Example :
Click into Clay .
Prehistoric females (high pitched voices) encapsulated their voices into clay . This than was baked . It can then be replayed by voices at the correct pitch of click .
This is a holographic process , so even shard can tell something to a San .
Compression of rock hidden behind rock paintings the same . Triple level of hiding .
Yakity-yakity-yak. An old Open Sesame . Very , very old .
A simple click progression :
tongue curled to the left , click , "!Ya"
tongue in the center double click "!kity"
Repeat "!Yakity". End in a "!Yak" click . The echoes should unlock most cave paintings .
Like the patterns of pits in CD's .
The compression patterns behind the rock paintings that an aural-shaman could perceive .
See how even simple behaviours lead to complex patterns ?
Click-spider speakers . Like horse whisperers .
The knots in the web are clicks . What does it say ? Cf Quipu in Peru .
And so it knits .
