Synopsis :
A dialogue model using a variation of glucose concentrations to entrain metabolic energy functions is adduced .

Argument:
1.The phene systems in the cell-walls are meta-controls on the concentrations and changes in concentrations of glucose molecules and insulin molecules .
They sit there and count . They also control the access the insulin molecule has to the cell-wall portals to allow glucose molecules into the cell .
There is a lot of them , and they consult (via viruses , as discussed) . This is the equivalent of a committee .

2.The Ratchet :

There are a series of optimal energy reserves , expressed as concentrations of glucose
This is caused by the committee system in the phene structures .

The relative values can be expressed by
y= (1/3)^n , where n is the optimization level . These form a series of ridges in the probability space . The system optimizes around these ridges . (They can also be expressed as attractors)

If the glucose-insulin system wanders too far from a Ridge(n) , and if the glucose is higher , the system will ratchet up to Ridge(n+1) . Insulin resistance develops .
The body cannot ratchet down without very specific stand-down instructions .
This is an evolutionary mechanism .
Hence the development of diabetesII in the elderly .

3.How to Ratchet down .
We use the optimal ridge for each optimal reserve .
The phene system sits and sums over time and space .
The time summation is the most important (ie how much and how fast you eat ) .

The most fruitful point of attack seems to be on the 4th order :
(1/3)^4 = 0.0123456790…
As discussed , about 5 points are fairly ok .
The above expression then means
1/100 + 2/1000 + 3/10000 + 4/100000 + 5/10000000
We convert this ratio into ratio's of concentrations of glucose .

1+2+3+4+5 =15 units

And we vary the volume of the concentrate to get intake .
Remember , we can use any numeric base . It is the ratio of concentrations that triggers the phene response .

Hence the previous recommendation , but do not use sugar . Glucose is much better , as the change in blood-concentration of glucose is blurred by the low GI of fructose in sugar .

Time gap :
See research on neural perception (NewScientist 24 Oct 2009 p32 "The Time Machine inside your head") , as well as previous posts , especially on "Click" .

There is an optimal period for neural systems to learn (at least 30 millisecs ) between changes . Ie between sips . But not more than 1/10 th of a second for a normal person for optimal effect .

Schizoprenics should not use this method without qualified medical supervision .
Or at least 2 seconds between each sip . Or the sip will take them .

DiabetesII
Dissolve 15 gm (3 tsp of glucose) into 150 (half-cup) of water .
Sip first 50 ml (3 tbs + 1tsp ) ,
then 40 ml(2 tbs +2 tsp)
then 30 ml(2 tbs +0 tsp)
then 20ml(1 tbs +1 tsp)
then 10 ml (2 tsp)

This will get the attention of the system .

But what will it do ?

It should initiate stand-down sequences , making the cell-walls more receptive to insulin molecule throughput .
But more experimentation is needed .

Diabetics should not use this method without qualified medical supervision .
The effect can be very severe , especially on those on insulin or insulin enhancing medication .
