Hypogeum of Hal-Saflieni

Synopsis :
The tomb of the losing side in a Matriarch battle .
Discussion :
1.Neolithic Acoustic engineers used sound and stone for all
purposes .
See
or
2.The Matriarch Wars .
3.Both sides were expert in Bio-warfare and Acoustic systems
.
The Matriarchs more on the bio side , the men on acoustic
side .
4.The Hal-Saflieni site would then be more equivalent to a
major strategic strongpoint (like Cheyenne Mountain today) for the men .
A major weapons site and fortification .
And they used sound as a weapon and indoctrination tool .
See Appendix A and Appendix B
5. It’s loss was a major defeat for them .
Seven thousand corpses (see Appendix B) , the cream of the
crop .
Who knows what happened .
I postulate the release of a fast-acting bio-toxin , most
likely from an engineered organism that stored the toxins in separate ,
harmless forms (eg binary poisons) , that switched on lethality genes at the
frequencies of 114 Hz and 68-70Hz , and resonances of these . This gave the men
enough time to run , but not to get away .
The victors then sealed the site for 5 000 years until
1902 .
No wonder the locals tried to hide the discovery .
I would have seeded the site with long-lasting spores .
I would not go in there without a level-5 biohazard suit and
sound-cancellation equipment .
6. Why those frequencies ?
·
Delta wave –
(0.1 – 3 Hz)
·
Theta wave –
(4 – 7 Hz)
·
Alpha wave –
(8 – 15 Hz)
·
Mu wave –
(7.5 – 12.5 Hz)
·
SMR wave – (12.5 – 15.5 Hz)
·
Beta wave – (16 –
31 Hz)
·
Gamma wave –
(32 – 100 Hz)
6.1 Take 114 Hz = composed of 2x3x19 frequencies . This will
stimulate awake and “sleep” at the same time .
The third freq has to be a prime : 2x3x17 =102 Hz will also
show an reaction in the Saflieni site .
So should 2x3x23= 138
Hz . Note 136 = 2x 68 a close harmonic .
But 2x3x29 = 174 , above the lowest range for female voices
.
Caution is advised . I do not know what range might
reactivate some old spores .
The last thing we need is some old bio-horror from the past
.
Men chanting at 102 , 114 , 138 Hz should have some
interesting results inside Saflieni .
The voiced speech of a typical adult male will have a fundamental
frequency from 85 to 180 Hz, and that of a
typical adult female from 165 to 255 Hz
6.3 They used it for
gender based religious entrainment and programming .
I presume females had the equivalent at slightly different frequencies
.
7. Other sites .
7.1 There should be more levels to Saflieni .
It was a major fortress . There should be underground ,
fortified leylines (ie acoustic channels) leading from it . Even after 5 000
years , they should still be traceable .
See http://andreswhy.blogspot.com/2011/05/click-and-ley-lines.html Quanats lasted longer . Just look for sort of
inverse quanats , built for drainage .
7.2 Gobleki-tepe should have deeper levels , so should Karnak
and Stonehenge .
7.3 I am not sure about the Pyramids . They were always
matriarchal .
7.4 There should be extensive underground ruins in Eastern
Europe . This is where the Matriarchy ground to a halt .
But extensive bio-minefields still exist . Be extremely
careful at the sites of the old Nazi extermination camps . They were not chosen
at random .
High concentrations of psychotropic poisons were , and still
are in the ground and rhizomes .
Trot in there with your at 102 , 114 , 138 Hz tone generator
at your peril .
7.5 In typical human fashion , both sides of the same
species managed to exhaust each other nearly to extinction .
7.6 It should be possible to write an App for a smartphone
that will be able to measure any danger still left .
A tone generator , and the poisons should be resonant at
certain frequencies as well . The higher ones . Like snakes emit .
Interesting . Snakes would then also have been
mine-detectors for bio-mines .
8. Relevance today .
There are some indications that the old war is heating up
again .
And the present humans have not the faintest clue about why
.
9.Music :
At least , now you know how to write music that is gender
specific .
Might as well get a good tune out of all this welt-smertz .
Just when you thought you knew what was going on .
Oh well .

The Hypogeum of Hal
Saflieni in Malta is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is believed to be the
oldest prehistoric underground temple in the world. The subterranean structure is shrouded in
mystery, from the discovery of elongated skulls to stories of paranormal
phenomena. But the characteristic that has been attracting experts from around
the globe is the unique acoustic properties found within the underground
chambers of the Hypogeum.
Hal Saflieni Hypogeum
is a cultural property of exceptional prehistoric value, dating back
approximately 5,000 years and the only known example of a subterranean
structure of the Bronze Age. The
'labyrinth', as it is often called, consists of a series of elliptical chambers
and alveoli of varying importance across three levels, to which access is
gained by different corridors. The
principal rooms distinguish themselves by their domed vaulting and by the
elaborate structure of false bays inspired by the doorways and windows of contemporary
terrestrial constructions.
Although not known for
certain, it is believed that the hypogeum was originally used as a sanctuary,
possibly for an oracle. It is for this reason that a unique chamber carved out
of solid limestone and demonstrating incredible acoustic properties has been
called ‘the Oracle Chamber’. According
to William Arthur Griffiths, who wrote ‘Malta and its Recently Discovered
Prehistoric Temples’, a word spoken in the Oracle room is “magnified a
hundredfold and is audible throughout the entire structure. The effect upon the credulous can be imagined
when the oracle spoke and the words came thundering forth through the dark and
mysterious place with terrifying impressiveness."
It is said that
standing in the Hypogeum is like being inside a giant bell. At certain pitches,
one feels the sound vibrating in bone and tissue as much as hearing it in the
ear. Sarasota arts and architecture
critic Richard Storm explained the sensation: "Because you sense something
coming from somewhere else you can't identify, you are transfixed."
The acoustic
properties within the Hypogeum have already been studied extensively. It was
found by Maltese composer Ruben Zahra and a research team from Italy that sound
resonates at 110 Hz within the Oracle chamber, and this matches the same or
similar frequency that has been found in many other ancient chambers around the
world, including Newgrange in Ireland.
According to Dr Robert Jahn from Princeton University, it may be the
dimensions of the room or the quality of the stone that determines the exact
pitch of this echo behaviour.
But the question
remains – was it intentional? Was the Hypogeum actually designed to enhance
amplification? If so, why? Is it possible that the designers of these spaces
knew something that modern scientists are just rediscovering?
One theory put forward
by Paolo Debertolis and Niccolo Bisconti of the Universities of Triests and
Siena respectively, is that the chamber was constructed in such a way as to
created acoustics that would affect the psyche of people, perhaps to enhance
mystical experiences during rituals, and this perspective has received
scientific backing. Dr. Ian Cook of UCLA
and colleagues published findings in 2008 of an experiment in which regional
brain activity in a number of healthy volunteers was monitored by EEG through
exposure to different resonance frequencies. Their findings indicated that at
110 Hz the patterns of activity over the prefrontal cortex abruptly shifted,
resulting in a relative deactivation of the language centre and a temporary
shifting from left to right-sided dominance related to emotional processing.
This shifting did not occur at other frequencies.
Whether it was
deliberate or not, the people who spent time in the Hypogeum under conditions
that may have included ritual chanting -- were exposing themselves to
vibrations that may have impacted their thinking. In addition to stimulating
their more creative sides, it appears that an atmosphere of resonant sound in
the frequency of 110 would have been “switching on” an area of the brain that
bio-behavioural scientists believe relates to mood, empathy and social
behaviour.
Despite the plethora
of research on the acoustic properties of the Oracle Room, there remain just as
many questions as answers. It is for this reason that the Hypogeum was the key
location for the Archaeoacoustics Conference held between 19th and 22nd
February. During the event, a multi-disciplinary undertook a challenging and
unprecedented experiment. Ultrasensitive
microphones were placed in the Oracle Chamber of the Hypogeum and digital
recorders were used to test the response of the chamber by different voices and
by simple musical instruments which could have been present in the time the
Hypogeum was in use (4000 - 2,500 BC).
The results revealed
that a male human voice can stimulate the resonance of the structure at two
frequencies (114 Hz and 68-70 Hz). The
use of a horn and conch shell did not create any resonance at all, while a friction
drum produced low resonance. Interestingly, a shamanic natural skin hoop drum
created a strong stimulation of resonance by harmonics of the drum at 114 Hz.
The response was the same as that produced by a male voice singing 'oooh'. A
female voice did not produce the same effect.
While we may never
know for certain what transpired within the Hal Saflieni Hypogeum 5,000 years
ago, scientists are moving ever closer to unravelling some of the mysteries of
this ancient and incredible site.

Appendix B
On the island of Malta is a prehistoric underground megalithic
structure known awesomely as the Hypogeum of Hal-Saflieni. It was discovered by
accident in 1902 when some workers were digging a hole and broke through the
ceiling. Oh, and they also found about 7,000 skeletons all
clustered near the entrance.
The three-level underground structure is made entirely out of
megalithic stones, and was built who knows when. What surprised people even
more was when they found out that male voices could
reverberate throughout the entire complex if the person was
standing in a certain spot. But here’s the kicker — the effect only worked if
the speaking voice was in the 95 to 120 Hz range, so women’s voices don’t
usually generate the same effect.
themaltaexperience.net
It gets weirder: If you’re a man chanting at roughly the 110 Hz
frequency, the entire temple complex turns into this bizarre trance-inducing
room that seems able to stimulate the creative center of the human brain.
Simply put, by merely standing inside that temple complex while
someone was chanting in the proper location, you actually enhanced your religious
experience. And that’s all we really know about this place. We have
no idea who built it or how they pulled it off. All we know for certain is that
they had a knowledge of acoustics that is still baffling scientists to this
very day.
