Synopsis:
WW I debts were not forgiven , only placed on moratorium .
The US now needs the money and is calling in the debts plus interest .
Discussion :
1.Total owed to the US in 1934 dollars = $10,340,021,226 file:///C:/Users/andre/Downloads/ADistantMirrorOfDebtDefaultAndR_preview.pdf
$1(1934) = $17.65(2014)
3.Minimum due today
$10,340,021,226 *
17.65 = 1.825x10^10
3.With a reasonable interest of 4% pa , a reasonable call is
(over 2014-1934=80 years) is
17.65 x 1.04^80 * 10.34 bn ~ $4.206 trillion
4.This is about the US QE amount .
It appears that they actually have collateral for it .
Basically , Europe .
5. What the Europeans will think of this , heavens knows .
A debt conveniently forgotten , except by the creditor !
6. But it seems like the US is intending to collect , one
way or another .
8. I wonder if somebody actually saw this , or it just fell
out of the numbers naturally ?
In any case , the US of A intends to collect .
Interesting times for small minds .
