I am "Not Guilty ." Whatever the contention :

This is taken as guilty in an Adversarial system .

The Internet at present is such a system .

Thus , if you are attacked , ignoring it is not the optimum response .
Other onlookers will judge you guilty by default since you do not defend yourself in the old trial-by-combat fashion .

"Not Guilty"
This is a sufficient response .
The onus is shifted to the attacker .

Detailed answers :
Nit-picking only plays into the hands of the attackers .

This is the classic Strategic Offense and Tactical Defense .
But you have to explicitly do it .

Optimal Strategy :
1.Declare "Not Guilty"
2.Cut off communication to attackers, but not from them .

If you are smart enough , go into singularity of one .

Why do I do this ?
Because recently I have been subjected to vitriolic attacks on my Blog .
I have no intention of answering . But not responding to the attacks renders me "Guilty" by the logic of this civilization .
Hence this blanket "Not Guilty" statement .

Neo-Horse barbarians of the Internet .
This is analogue to the light-horses of lies vs fortresses of truth .
There is very little instruction here .

Most of them are kids of any age .

I suppose it is non-U to nuke the little bastards .
