Synopsis :
Ice Falling over Antarctic
mountain divide causes major ice dumping , leading to MegaTsunami’s .
Discussion .
The pictures speak for themselves .
1.Antarctica half de-iced .
Note the elevation
difference between the top and bottom .
Ice falls from the top half (caused a slippery layer of
water at the bottom courtesy of global warming) , pushing the ice in the bottom
half into the sea .
This happens abruptly , causing MegaTsunami’s towards
Australia .
This is not your ice-cube melting in your glass , but the
splashing as you drop it into the glass .
Do you see the difference ?
The melting is gradual sea-level rise, The dumping are
splashes : MegaTsunamis.
2.But all other regions will be affected .
How large ?
Well , the ice cover
in the upper part is about 3 Km thick . A sudden surge of 1/3 of 1/3 ~9% will cause
MegaTsunami’s in Australia of about 270 meters (800 feet) .
Elsewhere less , but nothing less than 9 m (30 ft) anywhere
on the planet .

2. How soon ?
Nobody knows .
It seems that nobody has taken the mountain ridge and
ice-falls into consideration .
The computer models didn’t allow for it . No budget , either .
3.Has it happened before ?
Yes .
But difficult to disentangle .
4.Warning time :
Antarctica to Australia ~ 7000 km .Tsunami speed about 790
km/hr .
So , about 7 hours warning .
5. Well , 7 hours beats 4 minutes .
6. Aren’t you grateful to modern society and technology ?
While standing in the Dole queue , you have between 4 minutes
or 7 hours of being fried or drowned .
