Synopsis:
Some form of safe Fusion Power seems to have been achieved .

Discussion :

Fusion Power :
The German announcement of phasing out fission power stations means they have some form of safe fusion power (unexploited renewable energy sources in Germany is far less than 25 percent of their present energy requirements , never mind projected increases .)

This changes the whole geo-political balance , especially regarding oil .
And they have less than 2 months (until Aug 2 , 2011 ) to do this .
This is when the USA credit ceiling is reached and Congress has to decide what to do .

BRICS might decide to use this opportunity to pull the plug on the US dollar as international currency .

Whatever happens , there is going to be sudden , huge instabilities in international markets .
(I have disinvested completely from international exposure .)

Add social media , waves of successful revolutions and rising food prices .

Interesting times , indeed .
