Synopsis:
Convergence of four technologies (Oculus Rift , Leap Motion
, WizDish , Haptic suit) to give totally immersive Virtual Reality experience.

1.Oculus Rift .
The Oculus Rift is an upcoming high field of view (FOV), low-latency, consumer-priced virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD).
But one that actually works .

Now, with the ARAIG — short for As Real As It Gets — haptic
feedback suit, you'll feel every impact your character takes in-game.
And this isn't your momma's DualShock-style rumble. Anywhere on your torso or
arms that you get hit, you'll feel it right there. A total of 48 vibration
points located all across the suit make sure of that.
Bullets trigger individual vibrations. Explosions trigger
"stim" reactions, which encourage individual muscles to expand or
contract, simulating pressure in a specific area. These same reactions can make
you feel as if you're carrying a weight across your shoulder.
As an added bonus to the haptic feedback, the
ARAIG suit also implements a pretty ingenious sound system. Surround sound
speakers are mounted in a hexagonal configuration around your neck, making
sounds emanate from very specific places. There's also a subwoofer strapped to
your back — awesome”

Synopsis :
A major new technology in
human-computer interfaces .
Discussion :
1.What is it ?
“The Leap Motion
controller is a small USB peripheral device which is designed to be
placed on a physical desktop, facing upward. Using two cameras and three
infrared LEDs, the device observes a roughly hemispherical
area, to a distance of about 1 meter (3 feet).[8] It is designed to track fingers (or
similar items such as a pen) which cross into the observed area, to a spatial
precision of about 0.01 mm.[9]An advertisement video provides a visual
demonstration.[10]
The smaller observation area and higher resolution of the device
differentiates the product from the Kinect, which is more suitable for whole-body tracking
in a space the size of a living room.[11] In a demonstration to CNET, The Leap was shown to perform tasks such as
navigating a website, using pinch-to-zoom gestures on maps, high-precision
drawing, and manipulating complex 3D data visualizations.[11] ”

2.What does this mean ?
2.1Read my lips .
Facial gestures ,
including lip reading can easily be apped into a smartphone .
2.2Sign language can
directly interface with the computer .
2.3Analysis of cellular
behaviour . Eg sperm , white-blood corpuscles , amorphous bacteria , etc .
Other apps can amplify the image to Leap motion size . Computers can take it
from there .
2.4 Expression
recognition :
Who cares what the perps
look like . It is their intention that matters . And that is mirrored in their
expression at subliminal levels . Leap motion can pick this up .
2.5 Diseases :
Many diseases ,
especially mental ones , shows up in hand and facial expressions . These can be
noted and, analysed . Giving a fast first diagnosis .
2.6 SPORTS !
2.6.1 Golf . A Leap
Motion device coupled to a laptop/tablet or smartphone can really analyse your
game to millimetres , and give a running commentary .
2.6.2 Tennis , baseball
, basketball can all be done .
2.6.3 Chess ?
2.6.4 Poker . It will be
banned . You cannot bluff with this system in operation .
